Excursion of the young geomorphologists (SGmS) 2016
From les Diablerets to the Sanetschpass (VD/VS/BE)
The representatives of the young geomorphologists of the Swiss Geomorphological Society SGmS organize a two day excursion. The excursion will take place in Les Diablerets and Sanetsch region between the cantons of Vaud, Valais and Bern. The aim will be to visit various sites each presenting different aspects of high alpine geomorphology.
Topics like current and lateglacial glacier retreat, glacio-karstic processes and more generally glacial, periglacial and fluvial geomorphology will be covered.
